The Essential Essie Polishes For Autumn
One of my favorite ways to wear my go-to colors for fall is with my nails. It's a great way to add some color to my usually minimalistic style, plus I always feel super festive with a fresh fall mani. Over the last couple years, I've collected a great little assortment of Essie polishes that are absolutely essential for the season.
The colors I tend to stick to for autumn are a mix between muted neutrals and dark berry shades. For neutrals, my standard shade is Essie's Sand Tropez. It's a gorgeous nude beige that is just slightly darker than my skin tone, so it really gives my fingers that elongated look. When I'm wanting something a little softer and more feminine, I always reach for Ballet Slippers. This milky nude pink looks incredible on everybody, and it's a great shade for when you just want simple, healthy looking nails.
Muted neutrals with a little more color are fun to play around with during fall because you can add some color to your look without it being too bright. I recently picked up Maximilian Strasse-Her after hearing great things about the color from a few beauty vloggers, and I can see why they fawned over it so much. The shade is a muted grey-toned green that's really soft and unique. I've never seen a polish this color before and I'm absolutely obsessed with it. My other go-to muted shade for this season is Chinchilly - a purple-hued grey that looks so flattering on the nails and fits in perfectly with the colors of fall.
When it comes to bolder shades, Bahama Mama is a must. This dark berry shade has become a staple to my collection, as it allows me to rock a dark mani without looking drab and goth. It looks absolutely lovely when paired with Summit Of Style either over top or on an accent nail for a nice little glittery pop. My final Essie essential for autumn is the shade Angora Cardi. This dusty rose pink creates such a cozy fall manicure while still allowing you to wear a bit of pink for the season, and it's a really fun color to wear.
